Resizing transaction log file

Can anyone describe the process for increasing the Transaction Log
File size in Ingres V6.4?  Any caveats?  We are running on VAX/VMS
V5.5-02.

Under 6.4/03 on VAX/VMS, I have done the following to increase the transaction log file size:
	1) Run iishutdown
	2) Rerun iibuild, taking the Log_File option
	3) Specify the desired size for the log file
	4) Exit from iibuild
	5) Run iistartup -init

This requires having a clean termination of all INGRES processes with iishutdown.
If you do not use iishutdown, you risk losing data.
