Not Alpha, but on Solaris OpenIngres 1.2/01 has the following problems.

- copy table ... from ... core dumps the terminal monitor program (tm) if
the table contains a "long varchar"

- If you interrupt a "alter table ... add constraint" the server crashes

- If a particularly difficult query is tying up an OPF thread, the entire
server hangs.  You cannot even connect to it.

We are currently somewhat concerned about the quality problems since we are
to go production with it in February.
