Ingres/Net authorizations are not held in the iidbdb (i.e. accessdb), but in the NETU files in $II_SYSTEM/ingres/files/name. There was a bug (62345) in 6.4/04/01 and 6.4/05/00 where entries could be 'lost' when the name server shut down and restarted. This applied to user and/or node information. If this is the problem you are seeing, your solution depends on the platform. for 6.4/04 (vax.vms/01), install the 6.4/04 (vax.vms/00) IIGCN for 6.4/05 (nc4.us5/00) request patch 3303 any other platform, wait for 6.4/05 (xxx.yyy/02), which has certified already for VAX/VMS (6.1) and Sun BSD (4.1.3), with Solaris, HP etc etc coming soon. Hope this helps.
